The first example of Bobcat’s new L85 compact wheel loader rolls off the production line. The new range, which was announced last October, will be produced at the Bobcat plant on the Dobris campus in the Czech Republic. The manufacturer said the new front loader is ready for mass production.
Main technical characteristics
The Bobcat L85 is equipped with a 68 hp engine, has an operating weight of about 5 tonnes, a maximum working load of 3.1 tonnes and a lift height of 3250 mm. Installation of an additional high-performance hydraulic system of 100 l / min is possible.
The replaceable Power Quick-Tach system, compatible with all common couplings in the industry, is standard. The compact loader series also includes the L65 with an operating weight of 4.5 tonnes and a 55 hp engine.
Expansion of production of equipment
Bobcat has built an additional, fourth production line for the new loaders at its plant in the Czech Republic. According to the company, the capacity of the new production line is about 1000 machines per year. The total investment in the project was over one million euros.
As a reminder, in February 2021 Bobcat introduced the revolutionary new R-Series compact loaders to the market.
